Just Perfect
We wanted a quiet retreat and that is exactly what we got.  As other reviews have said, the journey to the house is a little 'hairy' in places, but that is surely part of getting peace and tranquillity, which is what this beautiful location and house has. We think it is worth the excitement of the drive!  It was the perfect break for us and wonderful to just get away from everything and we would definitely return.

A beautiful - remote - place
This must have been the most beautiful holiday house we stayed in, the location is quite remote (15 minutes on an unpaved road to get there) but when you get there everything is stunning.
The house, the decoration, the landscapes, the view, the tranquility and of course... the beautiful pool.
A great place to stay and to visit few of the small towns around (don't expect to drive large distances, roads are very well but curby so travel times are much higher than expected.
Iznajar is a beautiful place, as are Priego de Cordoba and Montefrio.

I would recommend this house to anyone who doesn't mind driving uphill and who loves Spain as it really is... Away from the Costa's.

Beautiful & idyllic house, just what we needed. So impressed with it and the facilities and well stocked kitchen. Will visit again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us.

Stunning villa in a beautiful part of Spain. The villa is tastefully decorated, spacious, and has everything you need for a week (or more if you are lucky!) of relaxing, eating and drinking. The villa is located near the top of a mountain which provides stunning views over the olive groves and beyond. We spent most of the time by the pool enjoying the incredible scenery. We also visited nearby town of Iznajar, and a night in Granada where we visited the Alhambra which we would highly recommend. To note - the villa is at the end of a narrow, gravel, and in parts steep track, and we would recommend hiring a car that can manage this terrain. — Lucy, 12 Aug 2019
